So our little man has grown up in front our eyes. First dropping the "Lil" from his name to dating sexy songstress Ciara, Bow Wow has made another move into the world of adulthood and that would be joining the renowned Cash Money Records with famed Lil Wayne. This is something that doesn't seem right.

Yes, I understand the switching of labels but one has to speculate as to why Bow Wow picked Cash Money as his new home. I mean L.A. Reid and Jermaine Dupri did an excellent job at sculpting him into the artist he is today but I feel that there has to be some qualifications to be in the roster of Cash Money Records.

The Hot Boys had a tough and raw sound to them and were composed with the true talents of the label. Affiliate Drake maybe be remembered as Jimmy but has been a superstar in Canada for his acting skills and has respectable cred from his mixtape.

Whatever the case may be Bow Wow just doesn't fit the puzzle. Maybe he's hopping on the bandwagon of Amerie and Jay-Z at switching labels? Is he trying to gain street cred? Sell million records in one week?

I don't see this quite working out for anyone. Bow Wow might get looked at as a poser trying to be hard (just because you have tattoos doesn't mean you're hard). Cash Money's future roster will probably succumb Bow Wow and he'll be forgotten, unless he's placed on a hot remix.
