Dr. Dre

Hip-Hop will see the birth of three great albums from artists who where responsible for each other's career this year including Eminem's Relapse, Dr. Dre's long awaited Detox and 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct.

After a hiatus of 4 years, Em will finally drop his new set on May 19. The first single Crack A Bottle (featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent) has already gone #1 and set a new Nielsen SoundScan record with selling a total of 418,000 downloads in the first week of its release. Furthermore the Detroit MC is already in the studio working on Relapse 2, according to Interscope Records.

50's often delayed disc will be released after Relapse. During ABC's show What's The Buzz in New York, Fif said "My album Before I Self Destruct will be out in May. My record kinda got moved back because Eminem's record will be coming out before me because Dre will have completed his project before I can get Dre to finish the pieces I need to complete my project."

While most Hip-Hop fans are looking forward to Detox, the legendary Dre still hasn't announced a release date yet but the album will definitely see the light of day in 2009.
