Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill has admitted that he would like to diffuse the tension between his label boss Rick Ross and 50 Cent.
It’s no secret that Ross and 50 Cent haven’t got along in some time and most recently 50 even claimed that the attempt on Ross’ life in a drive by shooting in Miami last month had been set up by the MMG star himself, perhaps in a bid to gain publicity.
Nevertheless, Meek Mill has spoken out about the feud between the two hip-hop heavyweights and revealed that he would try to squash their beef if he could, since he is on good terms with the both of them.
Speaking on Sway In The Morning on Tuesday (February 19), the Dreamchasers star said, “What they got goin’ on, they grown men. It’s been going on for a long time. If I could [end the beef], I would.“
“I knew 50 before I ever even signed with Ross. When I signed with Ross, I couldn’t just act like I don’t like 50 at all. That would be fake of me. If I could, I would. I don’t like seeing nobody I know go through anything. I don’t want to be in the middle one day and got to choose sides or anything like that.”
Meek then went on to explain that if there was ever a situation where Ross and 50 bumped into each other, he would attempt to intervene and make sure nothing got out of hand.
“I had plans on doing that,” he added. “If I ever see them around each other, if I’m around, there ain’t gonna be no fighting or nothing like that.”
We’re not sure it would be that simple.
