Detroit rapper Big Sean has become the latest Hip-Hop star to set out on a fashion business venture.
The G.O.O.D Music artist has officially launched a fashion and lifestyle brand named Aura Gold.
Big Sean says he will debut Aura Gold's "Finally Famous" line at at the PROJECTMVMNT convention in Las Vegas this month.
"Launching my own label is a dream come true for me," he said. "Even though I have a lot to learn about fashion and the industry, I do know what I like and the small details that make something stand out to me. I look forward to evolving the line with more colors, fabrications, and offerings to show the other dimensions of my style progression over time."
Big Sean's "Finally Famous" line will reportedly feature "select" designs of t-shirts, hats, pants, sweatshirts, and jackets.
Some of the clothing items are featured in VIBE's upcoming February/March 2013 Style Issue.
This actually isn't the first time the rapper has dabbled in the world of fashion. Last year, Big Sean collaborated with Adidas on a pair of Custom Model Pro Sneakers in honor of his sophomore album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player. Late last year, Big Sean told MTV news felt like he had "shut down" Detroit when filming the video for the Guap, the first single off the album. He said it was one of those "classic" HipHop videos like "Jay-Z had with Izzo (H.O.V.A)."
