Atlanta rapper, actor, and author T.I. surprised CNN medical expert Dr. Sanjay Gupta with the fact that he's actually a gardener, VIBE reports.
"How do you know when these things are ready to be picked?" the Grand Hustle leader asked on a winter gardening segment on CNN's Sanjay Gupta MD.
Dr. Gupta admitted to being a bit surprised considering T.I. is a Hip-Hop star. You don't usually see Hip-Hop stars so fascinated by gardening.
T.I., real name Clifford Harris, appeared on the show along with his two eldest kids, Dr. Gupta, and Urban Farming founder Taja Sevelle. The goal of the segment was to teach people about how easy it is to eat healthy and grow your own crops, even in winter.
Tip and his family got their hands dirty learning how to plant a winter garden. They planted lettuce, arugula, and carrots. His son fed him one of the carrots from their new garden.
T.I. released his 8th studio album, Trouble Man, in December. He also appears in the movie, Identity Thief, which is set to hit theatres Friday, February 8. The movie also stars Arrested Development's Jason Bateman and Mike and Molly's Melissa McCarthy.
Recently, Tip also announced he will be appearing on singer-actor Justin Timberlake's long-awaited album, The 20/20 Experience.
