Jackson calls out TMZ yet again for running another story full of false allegations and inaccuracies about her. The article posted on TMZ's website stated that a court action was filed ordering the estate of Michael Jackson to assist in paying off a mortgage on a Las Vegas condo. The aforementioned condo is allegedly owned by Ms. Jackson, according to the article.
Ms. Jackson’s lawyers contacted TMZ, informing them that the home is not a condo and does not have a mortgage on it. The luxury home is located in a gated community and the singer has only visited her mother there and never even spent a night in it.
As stated by Jackson’s attorney, “Had TMZ bothered to check with any of Ms. Jackson’s representatives before running the story, it would have learned that Ms. Jackson purchased the home outright ten years ago for her mother’s use.”
This is the second time that Janet Jackson’s attorneys have demanded a retraction of a false statement against her from TMZ, citing defamation of character.
The site posted a full retraction of an article in which she was said to have been physically and verbally abusive to her niece, Paris Jackson. TMZ admitted in their retraction on August 1, 2012, that the information that they posted was completely false.
