The Maybach Music Group head honcho gave a candid interview recently.
Not only did Rick Ross discuss his label’s growth and success, he also touched upon the subject of his recent ill health.
Rozay dropped by at BET’s 106 & Park to celebrate the release of his latest album, God Forgives, I Don’t. The session involved a number of visits and call-ins from the likes of DJ Khaled, Diddy, Ne-Yo, and Swizz Beatz.
Ross addressed listeners with gratitude. "I think the first thing I should do is thank the fans and supporters," he said. "It's a big day for me. I want to say thank you."
Whilst there, Rick gave listeners an update on his health, and had positive news to offer. The subject of the MC’s health became the subject of much speculation when he suffered two seizures in fairly quick succession last year. However, a recent video showing the Florida native playing basketball caused fans to question whether Ross had undergone a change for the better.
"Yeah, health-wise, I'm feeling a lot better," Ross said, when asked about his health. "I'm gettin' a little sleep, you know what I'm saying? It's all love."
Rick Ross also had an enthusiastic message to offer when asked about his label’s roster.
"MMG, man. Just watching the whole MMG brand go to the next level, and we gotta welcome Rockie Fresh to the team. Shout out to Omarion. It's just exciting. Gunplay, murda!"
