TMZ is reporting that doctors have declared Usher's 11-year old stepson brain dead.

Kyle Glover, the son of Usher's estranged wife, Tameka Foster, was struck by a jet ski Saturday (July 7) and has not experienced any brain activity since being admitted to the hospital. 

No decision has been made on taking Kyle off life support, TMZ reports.

According to reports, Usher arrived at the hospital Saturday night, and Tameka Foster has been by her son's side since he was brought in. Usher and Tameka are going through a bitter divorce battle, but according to TMZ, Usher hired a private jet to fly Tameka out to see her son. 

Kyle was struck in the head by a jet ski while riding on an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, GA. 

Kyle's friend, a 15-year old girl, who was riding on an inner tube alongside him, was also admitted to the hospital, the New York Daily News reports. The girl also suffered serious injuries. The children were airlifted to the hospital.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, TMZ reports.

Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor in the accident, but Robin Hill, a rep for the Department of Natural Resources revealed they will use special computer programming to recreate the accident to determine what happened exactly.
