Recently, Rap-Up TV caught up with rapper/producer Pharrell Williams to ask him about upcoming projects. When they asked if he's working with Jay-Z on anything, Pharrell responded that he's "sworn to secrecy."
While he remained quiet about his upcoming project with Hov, he did talk more in depth about his upcoming projects with other artists, most notably his protege, Leah Labelle.
"She's incredible," he said. "Like we couldn't believe it and we chased it down and down and finally talked, it was look like 'cool,' and she sings her a** off."
Pharrell talked about various artists he'll be working with this year, and revealed he's got a lot more planned with fellow Neptunes partner Chad Hugo.
"Well, the new Leah album, Leah Labelle. New Mac Miller, Pink Slime. Chad and I have been doing a lot work together," Pharrell said. "New Miguel, new Jay, new Usher, Mary's songs crazy too, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross."
Skateboard P won the ASCAP Golden Note award last Friday night in Los Angeles. Quincy Jones took home the ASCAP Founders award. Drake's producer Noah "40" Shebib won the award for Songwriter Of The Year. Wayne Brady, Fabolous, No ID, Drumma Boy, and Tha Business were also in attendance.
