Fif’s people have finally issued a statement on his state of health, following a car crash that the rapper was involved in on Tuesday (June 26).
50 Cent’s SUV was rear-ended in an incident which occurred in New York City in the early hours of Tuesday morning. His crash involved 50’s vehicle and a mack truck which drove into him.
A spokesperson for 50 Cent confirmed that Fif was taken to Queens Hospital following the crash, where he was treated for minor injuries. They stressed that 50 Cent has since been released from hospital.
"He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries," the spokesperson said. "He was released this morning and is doing fine."
According to ThisIs50.com, the accident occurred on the Long Island Expressway. A red mack truck drove into the rear of 50’s SUV, almost flipping the smaller vehicle. The site reported that doctors have been running tests on the rapper’s back and neck.
The news did not escape the attention of music mogul, Russell Simmons. Upon hearing the news, he took to Twitter to express his concern, writing, "I hope 50 Cent is ok...," on Tuesday.
