Posted: Thursday - July 15, 2010 | Comments (1)

Tony Yayo Footage of 50 Cent getting assaulted by a fan during a concert in Brazil recently hit the web and differing reports of what happened after the fan was captured soon followed.  According to G-Unit member Tony Yayo though, despite what you may hear or even think you see, the fan wasn’t beaten up too badly after they got to him.

“The show got crazy, man,” said Yayo to MTV News during a phone interview. “For security reasons, when somebody jumps on stage…when [performers] got on chains for $20,000, $30,000, $40,000, that’s a security risk right here. Nobody should be onstage except me, Banks, and 50.”

“It was just a fan -- he got a little carried away, a little happy. People make it seem like he got beat down real, real bad. He didn’t get beat down bad -- he just got tackled, taken off the stage and the show [went] on.”

Yayo went on to add, “We been getting crazy love.  That’s why I don’t want people in Brazil to think we out here beating down our fans.”

Fif was midway through his performance of Ayo Technology when the fan popped up onstage and he continued to perform while security captured the man. The G-Unit crew has four more dates in Brazil before the end of The Invitation Tour.

Torch When Bronx, New York born rapper Torch looked up one day and found himself amongst the palm trees of Miami, instead of the cold cement of New York, he effectively made the best of it. Combining the grit and grind of New York that he was raised on and the laid back swagger of Miami he adjusted to, his lyrical outlook has made him a rapper to watch as well as appreciate.
