DMX Ducks Out Of Scheduled MMA Fight?

It seems DMX has just rediscovered that he is indeed a rapper and not a fighter, as reports are circulating about him backing out on a planned bout with a MMA fighter.

Nothing has been confirmed, but word around town is that X has decided to take cover and pull out of the fight shortly after announcing that he would be going in without training.

"I'm going to just walk in as it is," he said on the MMA Nation radio show. "It wouldn't be fair if I trained."

His apparent cockiness seems to have disappeared, however, as he has now decided to throw in the towel.

As previously reported, X was scheduled to go toe-to-to with Eric Martinez on December 12 in Jefferson, Alabama.

X's fight was supposed to be the undercard event for the Tank Abbott/Butterbean mash-up.

When Yo! Raps went to press Abbott and Butterbean were still scheduled to duke it out in the ring.

X, however, could not be reached for comment.
