In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America on Friday (November 6), Rihanna says ex-boyfriend Chris Brown had "no soul in his eyes" after he attacked her in a car following the pre-Grammy Awards Party in February 2009.
During the interview, Rihanna confirms that the argument between the two did indeed start over a text message he had gotten from another woman and says that during the beating only one thought ran through her head, "When is it going to stop?"
Friday's show is part two of the interview which first aired on Thursday (November 5). During that interview Rihanna addressed others who have experienced domestic violence especially young girls, saying, "Don't react off of love. F love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person for what it really is, and then make your decision, because love is so blind."
RiRi hopes that by speaking out about her experience she can help other young women to get out of abusive relationships. "It's not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know," she said. "When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn't be held responsible for telling them to go back."
The interview will appear in full on ABC's 20/20 on Friday night.
