Industry insiders are claiming Kanye West has been hitting up the studio to work on his next album, a follow-up to his R&B tinged project 808's & Heartbreak.

"Kanye's taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits," DJ A Track told the Daily Star.

"It's really amazing just how many ideas he has," he continued.

Although information is still scarce, many other sources are reporting the as of yet titled project will also involve Soulja Boy in some fashion.

"I'm working on Kanye's next album right now. He makes beats and I make beats, and right now I'm remixing a couple of records for him," Soulja recently said.

Since deciding to stay off the public radar, Kanye has been the subject of many rumors, including one report of his death in a car accident.

His girlfriend Amber Rose has since denied his demise, adding that the reports were in poor taste.

Yo! Raps will keep you posted as more information becomes available about Ye's new project.
