50 Cent Shortens Wait For New Album
Posted: Monday - November 2, 2009 | Comments (0)

50 Cent was full of information during a recent interview, including he news that he would be moving up the release date for his much-delayed LP Before I Self Destruct.

While dropping info about his album, 50 also snuck in a jab at Ja Rule's singing skills.

"I'm pushing the record up so the date is [November] 16th," Fif said. "It'll be out on the 16th. I'm expecting it to do good because of the response that I've heard from the web. You know what I mean? It's obvious they didn't expect me to write the things that I wrote on the actual record, but, I don't know why. They're like 'This sh*t is fire.' What are you surprised for, stupid? Even the worst one did 700,000 the first week. It depends on who you're actually asking because you know who I identify with now? The actual aggression of my material is what came across the strongest because they want the hardest sh*t from me, the same things they knock another artist for, for example, like Drake, 'I want this sh*t forever man,' like the singing part is what I like from him, like when Ja [Rule] was doing it, I was like 'This motherf*cker' 'cause the sh*t wasn't good."

50 was reportedly forced to drop the record early when it began to make its rounds on the internet last week.

Featuring just one collaboration, the Ne-Yo assisted Baby By Me, the album boasts a total of 16 tracks of the rapper's music.

1. The Invitation
2. Then Days Went By
3. Death To My Enemies
4. So Disrespect
5. Psycho
6. Hold Me Down
7. Crime Wave, Stretch
8. Strong Enough
9. Get It Hot
10. Gangsta's Delight
11. I Got Swag
12. Baby By Me (Featuring Ne-Yo)
13. Do You Think About Me
14. Ok
15. You're Right
16. Could've Been You

Torch - The New New York

Torch When Bronx, New York born rapper Torch looked up one day and found himself amongst the palm trees of Miami, instead of the cold cement of New York, he effectively made the best of it. Combining the grit and grind of New York that he was raised on and the laid back swagger of Miami he adjusted to, his lyrical outlook has made him a rapper to watch as well as appreciate.
