Janet Jackson Set To Release Greatest Hits Collection

Janet Jackson Janet Jackson is set to release her greatest hits album Number Ones on November 17 in the U.S. via A&M/UMe. The album features a collection of 34 tracks including 33 of Jackson's hits plus a new song titled Make Me, produced by Jackson and Rodney Jerkins.

 

An impressive number of 30 tracks from the greatest hits album actually reached #1 on either Billboard's Hot 100, R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Dance/Club Play Songs or Adult Contemporary charts and Number Ones includes all 10 of her Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles.

 

Number Ones is Jackson's second greatest hits collection after 1995's Design Of A Decade 1986/1996 that sold 2.4 million copies in the U.S and reached #3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

 

 Janet has nearly sold 65 million albums worldwide, according to A&M/UMe.

 

In related news, Jackson is currently in the booth recording for her 11th studio album which will be available in stores in 2010.
