In celebration of the release of his highly anticipated album The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z is said to be playing "The World's Most Famous Arena," Madison Square Garden.
Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but word on the street is that Brooklyn's own will be taking the stage on September 11.
In addition to marking the kick off of his album, the concert will benefit the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund, a charity established to support the families of police officers and fire fighters who died in the line of duty, says MTV News.
To date, there is no official information available regarding buying tickets for the concert, but as of this morning there were tickets for sale beginning at $599 on eBay.
Jay's name has also been on the tips of fans' lips today because of the freshly leaked track, Off That.
Featuring newcomer Drake and produced by Timbaland, the track hit the 'net to scorching fanfare on Sunday (August 23) night.
Jay's BP3 also includes the wildly popular single Run This Town featuring Kanye West and Rihanna and guest appearance from Alicia Keys, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, J. Cole and others.
The Blueprint 3 will drop on September 11.
