After less than two months on the air, 50 Cent's reality show, The Money and the Power, has been canceled due to poor viewership.
After premiering on the music network on November 6, entrepreneur competition show has been permanently yanked from the air because of low ratings, says MTV Entertainment president Brian Gradenthe.
The network is reportedly looking for programming that is a more accurate reflection of "Generation 'Why Not?' -- living, working and playing on their own terms, 'adventure capitalists' if you will, pursuing a variety of thrill-seeking, 2.0, express-yourself enterprises."
The network says it plans to replace 50's show with reality based programs like College Life, Nitro Circus, Girls of Hedsor Hall, and Daddy's Girls, Angela and Vanessa Simmons' spin off show.
