After the recent Fyre Festival disaster, co-organiser Ja Rule has finally spoken out and written an apology to the unlucky people who purchased the extremely pricey tickets.
The Put It On Me rapper took to Twitter to make an unofficial statement addressing the issue, and then once again to confirm that all guests are now safe:

Relieved to share that all guest are safe, and have been sent the form to apply for a refund. Our deepest apologies… #fyrefestival

The controversy came after the ‘luxury’ festival, which some buyers paid up to $12,000 for, ended in chaos when they arrived to the island to find ‘disaster relief tents’ instead of VIP living quarters and what can only be described as very basic meals.

Some festival goers were stranded on the island while others had their plane rides cancelled.
Models such as Chanel Iman, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner were involved in the promotion of the festival in the Bahamas, although Hadid has since stated that she was not “informed about the production or process of the festival”, while Jenner is still under fire for the recent Pepsi commercial controversy.
While all ticket holders have been promised refunds, we’re yet to see how long this one will take to blow over.
