Diamonds are notoriously known as a woman's best friend; however, this "Dymond" is best known for her appearance in the recently released film, Notorious. Published model, accredited actress, and one of the DMV's premiere party hostesses, success radiates from Yo! Raps latest toothsome morsel of Eye Candy like the gleam of a princess cut diamond. No stranger to stardom, socialite Dymond Scoby aka Dymond Xclusive has hobnobbed with many a celebrity including such industry heavy hitters as Diddy, Keyshia Cole, Bobby Valentino, Q from 112 and the list goes on. Fixated on carving her own niche among the A-list, Dymond informs Yo! Raps on exactly how she plans to prove that "Dymonds" are forever.
So Dymond, what makes you so Xclusive?
My rare combination of beauty, intelligence, and hustle.
Compared to most of the models featured on Yo! Raps, your print work has been on somewhat of a different caliber - mostly fashion and hair editorials. What publications have you appeared in and why did you choose these features?
Well, I am the type of model that wants to get into everything I can get my hands on. I have appeared in Upscale magazine March 2008 and Jet magazine June 2008. I was always focused on getting into KING, Smooth etc. and when the opportunity came to be a Jet Beauty Of The Week, I just took it. Most of the models in the DMV are in Smooth, and I wanted to finally do something different and get exposure and be looked at by both men and women. I mean, come on, who doesn't look at Jet! [Smiles]

You began the New Year with a bang, an appearance in the film Notorious which starred such actors as Angela Bassett and Derek Luke. Tell us about your role in the movie and what you experienced during filming.
I play a "hot girl" in the movie. It's a role that actually fits me to the "T". I'm a huge flirt so the role was perfect. All I had to do was be myself. Being a part of Notorious was a wonderful experience. To be a part of one of the greatest movies of 2009 and work with such great actors was most definitely a blessing. I remember being on set the first day for 12 hours, and everyone was just so up-beat the whole time. It just felt great to be apart of the cast.
Any juicy behind-the-scenes gossip you can share with our readers who may be fans of the movie?
[Laughs] There were some on screen-off screen romances, but of course, I'm not going to let that secret out the bag.
If Biggie was alive today, do you think he would have approved of the film, Notorious, and the way he and other characters were portrayed?
Much love to Biggie... R.I.P. The story was best told by Ms. Wallace, Biggie's mom. I couldn't agree more on the actors they chose for the movie. Jamal "Gravy" Woolard played the hell out of B.I.G. I know Biggie is looking down and smiling.
Do you have any intentions to grace the "Big Screen" again?
Did you think this was the end for Ms. Dymond? [Laughs] I'm actually talking over 3 scripts with Fox pictures and Antwan Fuquoi who directed Antwan Fisher. Acting is my new passion. I got so much love after Notorious and I actually think I looked pretty good on the big screen! [Laughs] So world, y'all will definitely see me again.

Once aspiring to be the next "Dominique Dawes", how did your ambitions shift from gymnast to model and actress?
I always wanted to be a "Star" since birth. It was just a matter of finding my niche. I grew up; and being the next "Dominique Dawes" just wasn't enough for me. I wanted to go further with it. I've been acting since elementary school. I was just a little camera shy, but that is my #1 passion. I figured modeling would help me get over my stage fright and it has. Now I'm ready to star in films with the A-listers.
Adopting the motto of fashion mogul, Kimora Lee Simmons - "My Image Is My Business", what lengths do you to go to in order to protect your image when selecting the modeling or acting assignments you'd like to pursue?
I'm very selective when it comes to choosing not just movie roles, but everything that I'm involved with on the industry level. There are a lot of shoots, magazines, videos and roles that are offered to me that I've turned down because I want to have a positive impact and longevity. I put a lot of thought into the things that I want my name and image associated with.
In the glamorous world of Hollywood, there are several classes of "Stars". Would you be satisfied being a C-List Celebrity or lower, or are you shooting straight for the A-List?
I want to be the name that everyone keeps in their mouths. So I hope the A-list has room for another star. If not, I'm making my own spot! [Laughs]
You aim to be an inspiration to up and coming actresses seeking to break into the industry. As a role model, are you prepared to live your life under the microscope with your every move scrutinized to determine if they meet the guidelines of the politically correct?
I live under one now. A lot of people know me in the DMV area; and I really have to watch what I do because people are watching me at all times. So, I don't mind being a role model.

You have a plethora of event work in your resume including parties for the Wizards NBA team and Allen Iverson. Is event hosting something you'd like to do more of in the future?
I love hosting. I'm like the "Eye Candy" of the event and love any opportunity I can get to network. That's one of the best places to network. When you need a host, don't hesitate to call me [Laughs]
Recently appearing in the Throttle Angels 2009 Calendar, do you plan to release any products of you own?
Actually, I will be directing a calendar shoot in August. It's with models that I want to feature of different nationalities and the most exotic bikes ever seen. It's going to be hot! I get a lot of compliments on my lips so I'm talking with some people to perhaps launch my own lip gloss. Keep the ladies lips popping! [Laughs] I also will have some products such as calendars, posters, and more on the way soon. My team and I are working on some "Xclusives" as we speak!
With so many goals you'd like to achieve, how will you take your career to the next level?
I'm my own worst critic; so I'm constantly pushing myself to become a better talent, a better model/actress, and a better person. Right now, I'm concentrating on really building my brand; building a good reputation. Plus, I have good people in my corner to help me stay focused so it's all going to help me stay on top of my game. Every goal that I set for myself and then achieve helps me to reach the next level.
A little off-subject but I noticed in a photo that you have a tattoo of a tongue licking a cherry on your inner thigh. For those readers who may lack vivid imaginations, explain why you chose those particular symbols and what they represent as well as any other tattoos you may have.
Now, that tattoo is a little X-rated. If you can't get it, I don't know what to tell you! [Laughs] The tattoo that really means the most to me is my lower back tattoo. It's something I designed and feels that it best describes my alter ego. It's a crown over a "Dymond" and wings. It symbolizes that I am a "Dymond Princess" and I stay fly!
Ok, before we "rap" up, it's time for the age old battle! [Laughs] In your opinion, who is the greatest rapper of all times, Biggie or Tupac and why?
It's a known fact that Biggie is the greatest rapper that ever touched the earth. Don't get me wrong, Pac is hot too. But how many rappers/hip hop artist do you know who have never written a rap down and will just get in the booth and just start spitting. He was ruthless on the mic. I really wish he was still here, I miss Notorious so much. He just rapped about real stuff that he and other people in the streets could relate to. Fire! No one can ever touch B.I.G!
